Uniquely located on the promenade in the historic Thirroul Beach Kiosk Building, at Flanagans you can admire one of the Illawarra’s most remarkable beach and ocean views whilst enjoying an exceptional meal. So exceptional that the Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide 2014  and 2015 named Flanagans one of the top three restaurants in the Illawarra.
Situated between the escarpment and the Illawarra coastline, Thirroul is the last of the northern Illawarra villages on the scenic drive south from Sydney incorporating the Sea Cliff Bridge, making it a perfect destination for daytrippers from Sydney and the Southern Highlands.

Wednesday to Sunday

Lunch is available from 12 to 2pm Wed to Friday & 12 to 2.30pm on weekends.
The beautiful beachside setting allows you to sit back and relax, whilst enjoying sensational meals created by our chefs with the freshest local produce and seafood.

Winemaker’s evening

Saturday 27 September

On Saturday 27 September we will be holding our next winemaker’s evening at Flanagans with our 7 course degustation menu  matched with wines from De Bortoli Wines.  De Bortoli’s sommelier, David O’Brien, will be on hand to present and explain wines. Our previous winemaker’s evening was oversubscribed so get in early for this one.

Evening Dining

Saturday nights

Most Saturday evenings Flanagans is open for a la carte dining – bookings essential.  On certain Saturday nights we will run a 7 course degustation menu.  These evenings are a very special way to enjoy all the best that Flanagans Dining Room has to offer.   Our next degustation evening will be our winemaker’s evening on Saturday 27 September.    To keep up-to-date with our evening dining schedule best to subscribe to our mailing list (see below).
